3. What are you looking forward to right now? IF you can't think of anything, what could you do to change it?

I'm looking forward to working on my challenges for fandom_empire. I love Sundays because of that. They're usually up by now, but sometimes it's a little later than other Sundays. I hope I have some good prompts to work with today. Woot. I'm also looking forward to making some moodboards, which I love. I look forward to many things every day, so this one was pretty easy for me. I joined some new communities and want to make something for each of them. I love DW and their communities.

There are a lot of great communities on DW, but this reminded me of something, so I wanted to ask you a question out of curiosity. Since we both spent so much time in Sentinel fandom. Did you mostly hang out in fandom-specific spaces in those days? If so, how does being part of a very multi-fandom place like Dreamwidth compare?

Back in those days, I kept to fandom-specific spaces and spent most of my time on the Sentinel mailing list and reading fic on 852 Prospect. I've been mostly in one-fandom spaces until joining Dreamwidth in 2019. It was an experience being in a multi-fandom community (with almost no communities for specific fandoms). It took some getting used to, and at first I didn't like it -- but I've broadened my horizons and interacted with fans outside my main interest, and did a lot of dabbling in writing fic for other shows that I probably never would have if not for DW. I have a blast and I love it!

I joined many Sentinel Communities on LiveJournal. But I never liked it there as much as I do on DW. I like reading things from other authors in different fandoms. It makes it more fun. I don't write in many other fandoms, but that's okay. Right now, I'm working on a Reacher and Will Trent story. Something I never thought I would say. LOL I'm also working on a big one for Almost Human. So, I do get out of The Sentinel sometimes. I love it here at DW and don't miss LJ at all. As far as I know, there are no Sentinel communities left. Unless I'm missing them completely. Which could easily be.

I probably wasn't on LiveJournal in those days. I didn't really start hanging out there until around 2009 when I got into Torchwood. I doubt there are any active communities for anything these days. It seems to be pretty dead over there.

It keeps me on my toes. And believe me, every now and then, Prisca has to remind me what I did wrong. She's such a doll.
