Got my medical results tonight.
Oct. 7th, 2026 08:01 pmI got my results tonight and was a little disappointed. The doc said it would probably come back with no Ground-glass left after the radiation. But it didn't leave. But it shrank, so that's what I'm focusing on. At least it didn't grow. So, I take this as good news. I see the doc on the 14th. We'll see what's going on and go from there. Thank you, everyone, for your good wishes and prayers. I feel like they all helped.

1. I don't call it a waste of time, but I love to write stories in my fandom. Right now, I'm writing some for The Sentinel Advent Calendar. It's so much fun. And we've had a wonderful turnout of writers and artists.
2. What do you think of tattoos? Do you have any? I love my tattoos. I have a large Iron Man on my left leg. It's pretty cool. My son is a tattoo artist, so that explains part of it. LOL. He's trying to talk me into another one. I also have one on my wrist: two dolphins in a circle, with hearts and Rodney in the middle. It's cool, too. Here is a picture of my Iron Man one.

September 30th: Do you often listen to podcasts? Do you have a favorite? I have never listened to a podcast. I'm not even sure what exactly they are. I'd like to hear what people listen to.
OCTOBER:
1. Do you often get actual phone calls these days, or do you rely on texts and emails to keep in touch?
Mostly texts every day. I prefer phone calls because of my tremors; it's hard to type sometimes.
2. We are now heading towards winter in the Northern Hemisphere, and summer in the Southern Hemisphere – what are the plants doing where you live?
I have two huge orange trees with about 100 oranges on each. Hubby is going to pick them for the Group home that we donate all our fruit to. Then we have a pomegranate tree with about 25-30 pieces of fruit. Two trees down, we have a grapefruit tree with about 8 grapefruits. We used to have grapes, but the birds ate them all. LOL, but that's all we have in our yard. That you can eat anyhow. All our plants are doing well. We have some gorgeous Bird of Paradise shrubs, and they're gold and red. Everything in the yard has flowers, Arizona doesn't know that it's Fall. LOL

My first job was at the Animal Shelter by my house. At first I loved it, but you had to take your turn bringing the dogs to the gas chamber. I was barely 16. I hated that. I didn't last too long. Made me cry.

What color their eyes are. I love eyes, and especially if they green, blue or anything other than brown. That's what mine are.
. Can you touch your nose with your tongue?
No, mine doesn't. I can't believe I tried.
. If you had to eat a crayon, which color would you choose?
Green. Maybe it should taste like spinach. I love Spinach.
. Which sport would be funniest to play after a few drinks?
Volley Ball, or tennis. LOL
. What's your funniest childhood memory?
When I was young, my mom took me to ballet. I was very clumsy, and she just knew that was going to make me normal. Yes, she said that. Anyhow, my older brother knew I hated ballet, so he told me to throw the slippers away in a trash bin and say I set them down and forgot them. We were poor; I shouldn't have been going. So when we got home, Mom asked where my ballet slippers were, and I told her I sat them down and forgot them. She was so angry, and she said, "You don't get to go back." I went into my room, looking all butt hurt, and laughed and laughed. I told Dan he was a genius.

I love both places. But if I had to choose, probably Chili's. They have great food.

Hi, everyone. The Sentinel Secret Santa is not happening this year. Ainm decided 20 years was enough for her. Thank you, Ainm. But I have excellent news. Morgan Briarwood, our new Mod, wants to have a Sentinel Advent Calendar. She's working out rules right now and will be posting about it soon. It still will be anonymous, until the end of the month. I'm so excited, I'm driving myself nuts. 😁 There will be prompts for each day in December. Morgan will fill everyone in as soon as she plans it out. We're hoping to have a lot of interest. Health Update.
Sep. 10th, 2026 11:33 pmI finished my radiation on July 20th. I had no side effects/adverse effects. I feel very blessed. On October 2nd, I'm having my 2nd PET SCAN. This way, they'll be able to see if the cancer will be gone. My doc is really hoping for good news. I feel like it'll be very good news. And if it's gone, I still have to have a CT scan every three months for 2 years. I feel great.
My cardiologist asked me to start doing chair aerobics. I'm up to an hour a day, seven days a week. He wants me in better shape. Turns out, I love doing the exercises. I think it's all helping me feel so good. He doesn't want me to have another heart attack. He’ll be happy with my progress.
I hope you're all doing well. I haven't written anything in ages, and for whatever reason, I'm not that upset with this. After 28 years of creating stories in the Sentinel, I may be done. I take it back, I am a little upset. Even hubby asked me why I hadn't been writing in a while. I might just be out of ideas. Enough whining.

Convection Ovens used to be a big thing. They were cute little ovens that sat on the countertop. Now,, the big thing is air fryers.

I eat twice a day. I've been trying to do better with eating enough. No, I don't snack much at all.
8. If your 10-year-old self were transported to your home today, what item would surprise you the most, do you think?
I have no clue on this one.
9. It’s International Sudoku Day! Do you like completing Sudoku puzzles?
No, I hate sudoku but my hubby loves to do them.

Yes, I has two, from my dad. Then I gave them to my girls when they had kids, and the grandkids saved them both for the great-grands. Hubby gives me a teddy bear for our 10th, 20th, 30th, 40th, 50th, anniversary. We're on year 56, Only four more years until I get another on our 60th anniversary.
