30. In 1873, Around the World in 80 Days by Jules Verne was published in France. Have you read the book or seen any of the films?

No I have read this but I did watch the movie. Many years ago. Did everyone read the book? What did you think of it?

The book is so much better than the films.

I read the book years ago and remember I enjoyed it. The movie was one of those that had an intermission and sold a book with details about the movie. My family went to see it in the Valencia movie house in Jamaica, NY, and that was really a movie palace--huge and lovely. Now it's become some kind of church. So sad. :`-(
