pattrose25. It’s Burn’s Night – a night to celebrate Robert Burns and all things Scottish. Do you like Scotch whisky, or prefer Irish Whiskey? I'm going to list a few things about Robert Burns.
I don't like whiskey, period. But I've heard that Scottish Whisky is the best.
“So fair art thou, my bonnie lass,/ So deep in luve am I;/ And I will luve thee still, my dear,/ Till a’ the seas gang dry.” - “A Red, Red Rose”
Burns Night is celebrated annually on January 25, the anniversary of his birth, featuring haggis, whiskey, and recitations of his poetry.
Personal Life: He was known for his restless spirit, numerous romantic affairs, and fathered 12 children with his wife, Jean Armour, and others.
Death: Burns died on July 21, 1796, at age 37, likely from a rheumatic heart condition.
