21. Do you like wearing colourful socks? What do the brightest socks you own look like?

I rarely wear shoes. I own tons of flip flops. That’s what I live in. In December I wore socks three days when it was cooler and raining. But I have at least a dozen short socks in lovely pastel colors. Hubby cracks up that I wear flip flops in the winter. To each his own, right? Sometimes I wish there were three questions to answer.

Is everyone in shock with the show Heated Rivalry doing so well at AO3? The kudos and the comments are unreal. Has anyone read any of them? I have and so far they’re pretty darn good. I’m anxious to hear what others say.

I've seen a couple of episodes of Heated Rivalry and I have read a very few stories. I like the programme but I have very little idea what's going on beyond the obvious. I think I'm hoping that there is more plot coming.
As to the socks I wear them often, there's maybe two months a year where I don't wear socks. Right now I am wearing Christmas socks!

I'm not sure I understand your question... are you asking about the quality or number of comments on the stories? Or what exactly?

I can’t believe how many people are commenting and giving kudos. I’m just surprised. I love it. The stories. Are great.

Oh, right! Yes! I think the stories are indeed getting lots of comments and that is always fun.

When we lived in Florida, I always wore low socks that barely covered my ankle. It was warm enough that crew socks weren't necessary.

Here in Charlotte, though... I try to wear socks that denote the various holidays: Christmas, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, 4th of July, Halloween, Thanksgiving. This week, however, I've been wearing warm, fuzzy socks.

I used to live in sandals, even in the winter! (I definitely wore very fuzzy socks under the sandals when it was cold.) I've started wearing socks even in the summer now, mostly because of gardening and how dirty my feet get without them. Even in sneakers.
