Write a love letter to fandom. It might be to fandom in general, to a particular fandom, favourite character, anything at all.

Dear Jim and Blair,

It has been 28 years since I first discovered fanfic for the Sentinel. No one had to drag me; I jumped in willingly. You both kept me company on nights I couldn't sleep. You made me laugh, made me angry, and made me fall in love with you all over again. Looking back, I wouldn't change a thing. You'll always be my favorites, even when I play in other people's sandboxes. Looking forward to many more years of writing about you.

That's a very nice letter. I've never watched The Sentinel. I would ask you if it's good but that would be a bit of a silly question. I presume it's an American programme?

Yes, it's an American program. It's just an everyday show with excellent actors to make it more exciting. I don't think you can see it anywhere but YouTube. Jim and Blair made it a lot of fun. I have the videos and still watch them.

Ah, The Sentinel. That was an interesting show to watch, and then coming later on to discover all the fanfic that had been written about it, and the style that it spawned, yeah, I can see how all of that happened. Been a while since I thought about that show, and I'm glad it's sustained you over the years.
