I know a lot of people didn't like it, but my friend and I had a very good time watching it. There was still that little bit of humor in it, not as much as the first one because the subject matter was so much more serious. But I loved every minute of it. I Liked that we learned a little more about Black Widow, Bruce Banner and Hawkeye. I thought everyone was used well. And three new characters were introduced. I liked them all. I wish it could have been longer, since there were so many of them to work with this time. But all in all, a great job. And see I didn't give away anything. No spoilers for a change. :)

Hugs, Patt

So glad you liked it, Patt! I, too, liked finding out more personal things about Hawkeye and Widow in particular. And the humor was just spot on, as always. :-)

Yes. I was sad at the end. I'm not saying any more. I hate people that spoil the movies for other people. The humor was great.

Me, I fall on spoilers with cries of glee. One reason I never got much into movies - you can't look at the end first to make sure the destination is one you want to reach. I never enjoy something I go into cold; apparently there's a name for people like me who don't watch for plot but more for how it's developed, how the writer paints word pictures... I've even been known to check the end of a PWP to make sure of its destination before I committed to reading it.

However, people who like spoilers don't necessarily understand what will be a spoiler for others, even though they understand that others just don't want to know anything about the story ahead of time. Some years ago I made a passing comment on a new character in an American series (when it was actually shown here ahead of America) It was no secret that this actor was being introduced to the series. All I said was that I didn't think he was very good in the part (although he wasn't an unknown). I got the shock of my life when someone called that a spoiler. And I never did understand why the husband of a friend said a movie had been ruined for him when he was told that a certain actor was in the damn thing...

I thought there were some brilliant one liners in it.

I have to go see it again, to help remember some of those lines. My husband wants to go next weekend. :) So, that's what we're going to do.
