Thank you, Annie. Chris, our daughter always loved what Billy Joel named his daughter, so that's what she named Alexa. Alexa Rae. :) But of course, Alexa hates it, because everyone pronounces it wrong. LOL They call her Alexis or Alexia. So these days she goes by Lexi. But I'm not calling her that. LOL
Thankfully she takes after her parents and her Mom and Dad don't look anything like us. :) I always used to tease my daughter about belonging to the neighbor, because she had red hair and blue eyes. Not the norm in our house. But my Gramma had somme of those genes, so I guess she got them from her. Alexa looks more like her Dad's side of the family. Thank you for the very kind words. :)
We'll have you over sometime while you're here so you can see the two of them. Time does go by too quickly. Madonna sings a song about time going by too slowly, and I think she might be confused. LOL Thanks for the kind words.
