on the Blockbuster movie list, I had a movie that's going to be here tomorrow and I haven't a clue as to why I had it on the list to start with. It's called Seige and has Denzel Washington and Bruce Willis in it. I love both of them, but it still isn't ringing any bells. I probably put it on the list months and months ago. And you know my memory... Has anyone seen this movie? Geeze, I hope it's decent. It's been a while since we've seen any good ones on video. Or maybe we're just getting too friggin picky.

I did add Hairspray to the list, because I'd like to see it again. It was so much fun. :) We saw WAitress, but I could have waited to see that on Video, because it was just what I had hoped it would be. Not that it wasn't good, just really different and I kept wishing that someone else would have written it. *g* We also saw the Harry Potter movie, but I'm not a good judge on those darn things, they bore the hell out of me. The only reason I went was because hubster asked me to go with him. He also asked me to go to Transformers and I almost didn't go, because I didn't think it would be my cup of tea. I was shocked that it had a storyline. It had a friggin plot in it. LOL

Anyone seen any new movies that they would like to tell me they loved or hated? LOL

Hugs, Patt

I don't usually get to the movies, preferring to wait until they come out in DVD rather than spend the money, but we had some Regal gift cards, so last week, when my older son was down, we went to see a couple. We both enjoyed I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, which kind of surprised us. (I'm not much of an Adam Sandler fan.)

Then the three of us saw Sicko. It was also good, very thought-provoking, but it depressed the hell out of me. The health care system in this country should be way better.

And while it's not a movie movie, if you have the opportunity, I highly recommend Ocean of Fear, which aired over the weekend on the Discovery Channel. It's about the aftermath of the sinking of the Indianapolis while returning to Leyte after delivering parts of the Hiroshima bomb. Although most of the men died from injuries sustained when torpedoes slammed into her, and from exposure, (only about 300+ out of ~1100 survived) it's been labeled the worst shark attack in history.

I love Adam Sandler films, but wasn't sure about this one. Good to hear that it was fun.

I highly recommend Ocean of Fear,

I'm going to have Rod watch for it, so we can watch it too. Sounds good. I like the Discovery Channel.

Hee! I knew it was soon, but didn't know the exact date.

I wish they'd put it out sooner - it's the perfect summer escape movie!
