Crunchy questions

How heavily involved have you generally been in your fandoms? Have you lurked, have you been involved in major ways, has it depended on the fandom?

I write sometimes in the Will Trent Fandom. I have a 10,000 word story that I'm dragging my feet on. It was for smallfandombang. The mod passed away. I'm still in shock. But one of these days I'll post it.

I have a 10,000 word fic in the Almost Human fandom. It was for the same small fandom bang. I'm going to try to post this, this weekend.

I have a new story but my beta passed away six months ago. I can't even force myself to try and find a new one. It's so depressing.

It's hard to keep writing sometimes. Just a thought but if you do finish and post your smallfandombang stories you could dedicate them to the mod who died.

It can be so hard to keep finding motivation in spaces that were once filled with friends and people who are no longer there. I like to think, by keeping things going in their absence, we're celebrating the spaces they built.

I know there are occasions when we're ready to give up. Give yourself some time to catch your breath.
