Happy Birthday to one of my favorite people in the world. Yes, that's you, Ms. snailbones. I hope you have a wonderful day and year, starting off with a wonderful cake. But instead of cake this time, I found a birthday picture with a snail. So I'm a happy camper. :)

I had a great birthday - but slightly insane... go on, look surprised *g* And we're still attempting to hide the cake mountain by eating it.

I'm so glad you had a good birthday. You deserve that and more. :)

My brother bought a computer for the spare room at his house so I could touch base while I was here once mom went to bed. It's been so nice being able to catch up with y'all. He's so generous and sweet. I love him dearly. My mom is very frail and weak, now I know why he wanted me to go down there. Her dementia has gotten about ten times worse than last time. It's sad.

Oh hon. I was so hoping it was better than it sounded. I'm glad you're there though - and well done to your brother for all he's done and is doing, and for getting you there when it matters. He's a star. As are you. You've already got so much on your plate, and here you are, dealing with still more, and doing it with your usual grace. You amaze me - can I be like you when I grow up?
