The Holiday Season

pattroseNormally I dread the season, but I'm ahead on my Christmas cards and my shopping, so I feel pretty darn good about all of it. I just have to get things mailed off beings I'm not going to be here half of the time.
My Mom is having Thyroid surgery on December 12th, so I'm going to stay with my folks from the 8th until the 14th. The doctor said with her age, (79) she should have someone there to help her out for a few days at least. So, that's what I'll be doing. Then I no sooner get home and packed and we'll be off to Houston for xmas with our daughter Chris, son-in-law Brett and our Grand-daughter, Alexa. :) We're so looking forward to seeing all of them.
I still have so much to do, I can't even think straight. [sigh] Off to order some last minute things from Amazon.
I hope you all have a busy and productive weekend. I know we will.
