Things that Scare Me:

Things that make you jump. I'm scared to death of horror movies. I can't even watch previews. I'm such a chicken.

I have a few fears that I don't talk about, but one I can share is the fear of having a serious medical issue where I can't take care of myself. I don't have anyone, so I don't know what would happen to me.

I LOVE that icon, it's so pretty! Tarlan makes great icons. That's where my first Miami Vice icons came from.

I would have that fear too. In fact, I do. I worry about ruining my children's lives. Getting old is not for pussys. We have a grandson who we raised and he tells us all the time that he'll care for us. That worries me. Even when you have someone, you still worry.

Try not to worry about your grandson wanting to care for you. I took care of my mother, and while it was rough and stressful, I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. He loves you.

I will try not to worry. He really does love us. He’s such a good man.

😂 I am the opposite. According to my mother, she took me to the theater to watch Alien (I don't know why she would bring a 2 year old to watch it.) I cried at the ending… because they killed the alien. XD I am a jaded horror fan. Real life is scarier to me.

I am right with you there. Cannot stand any type of horror. The real world is full of horrors, I want escapism to more happy topics when I watch a film or show or read a book.

I don't think it's being wimpish, I think watching gruesome things is weird. We're just kinder, gentler people 🩷

I can NOT do horror, especially the graphic modern films. They give me nightmares. I had a friend who didn't understand it. After all, it's "just" make believe. Well, tell that to my subconscious.

Plus, I just don't like being scared. I don't get the appeal of that.

To each their own, but I just can't do it. I've been wanting to watch Sinners but just the clips make me anxious. Nope, no can do.

I can't watch them either. That is, I can sometimes watch and enjoy them, but then I'm deathly scared of every shadow for the next week, so I don't consider it worthwhile.
