I had an incredible Saturday...

Rodney asked me to go running with him in the beautiful 72F degree day. We had errands to run, but first stopped off to see our son Thomas. You can actually see the tumor, (very small) in his eye. Gross. Anyhow, we spent about two hours there, Rodney helping Thomas do things he needed to get done because he just moved into a new place. :) I played with grandkids. My idea of fun. Then we went to HOme Depot and bought some things to fix some projects around the house. Then the grocery store and he got called on his work phone so we had to head home for about an hour or so. Once work was taken care of, we decided to go shopping and then have a quick chinese dinner out. All in all, we were gone almost all day long. It was wonderful. The weather was perfect, the company was great, (I love spending time with just him) and then we topped the day off with renting two movies. The first one was The Maze Runner and both of us didn't care for it. We thought it left a lot to be desired in a film. Really, it was quite the let-down. Then we got one for today called One Good Deed. It didn't get good reviews, but we didn't care. We like the woman in it and I love the bad guy. So, that's what we're doing today. WAtching a movie and doing some yard work. :) It's hard to believe it's only January. I have oranges all over my tree. LOL Isn't that funny? Sam's been eating them. I wouldn't have, but then again, what do I know?

I've been working on my 2016 story for the Nostalgia Big Bang. Where you take your first story, or an old story and rewrite it. So, I took my very first story and rewrote it. It's going to need a lot of work yet, but I'm happy with it so far. It was 10,000 words long, cut it down to 7,000 words and added all of the new things and it's now 19,000 words. The important thing is that I had fun. And I did. Can you tell I can't sleep tonight? *sigh* Some nights are like that for me.

Do you have an idea of which one you want to do? I had a hard time deciding. I'm also doing another one, but I don't think it turned out as well. So, I Might just toss that one. Not sure yet.

Do you mean No Good Deed? I don't really care for those types of movies, but I did watch that one and thought it was good for what it was, a woman being terrorized in her own home. I love both the lead actors, too.

BTW, have you watched Empire? It's got Taraji P. Henson in it and she plays Cookie. Man, talk about tearing up the screen, she's terrific.
