This is what I've been doing...

I made my homemade Christmas cards, filled out all of the envelopes and made labels. Then I actually finished ten cards tonight and then I called it quits. I don't want to sound like a scrooge, but I am. LOL I hate doing them, but at the same time, I love getting in touch with people during December. How exciting for me, huh? Only 30 more to go. If I do ten a night, I'll be done in no time. Right? Three more nights and that's it. Woo Hoo. WE've got to start wrapping presents on Monday. I have all of my shopping done, just don't have anything wrapped and ready to mail. I know it's only November, but the time goes so fricking fast, it's unreal. What are you all doing this weekend?

Patt, I'm back in CA for the winter. Tomorrow, I have more to do than I have time. Forgot I was supposed to go to Riverside to a Smokin' Joe performance, which annoys me because I'd really like to see it. But I've got an appt tomorrow afternoon, and I have to return some stuff to a store tomorrow morning. And I'm getting ready to head over to the coast, to spend Thanksgiving week with Aly. Love being back but haven't stopped since I got here last Saturday. Sure can't complain about the weather; love the pools here!

Welcome, back. The weather has been so lovely here in Arizona. It got a little cold for a week, but I think Lisa, Duncan's Twin brought it with her when she came to visit. LOL Now that she's gone, it's lovely again. Our type of winter, that's for sure. Have a great Thanksgiving with Aly. Hug her for me. I hope she's feeling better soon. I will keep her in my thoughts.

My program made the cards, actually, so I can't really take that much credit for them. LOL Monday we start wrapping, that is going to be a mess. Then shipping. How exciting.

I used to be able to leave the Christmas cards to Bob, but I don't have the excuse of work this year, so I guess I'll have to do it. I'm liking this season less and less. Stores start decorating so early, and don't get me started on Hallmark! The kids are either in NY or NC, and I don't get to spend the holiday with them (not that I could deal with NY winters any more. :-P) Bob and I don't need anything, so I have no clue what we'll give each other. Usually it's one big gift, like the computer, but since we've replaced both the laptop and the desktop within the last year, it won't be that.

So compared to me, you're not a Scrooge at all, Patt!

I'm not wild about the holiday season either. It's a royal pain in the butt. But, it's there. We have to celebrate it, dang it. We're going to Houston again this year. The only bad thing is, then we don't get to spend it with Vincent and Sam. WE're coming home on the 26th, so I think we might celebrate then.
