6. In 1709 The Great Frost began during the night, a sudden cold snap that remains Europe's coldest ever winter. What temperature will it reach today where you live?

I wouldn't do well with a cold snap. I'm still wearing short sleeves and flip-flops. The temperature today was 65° F. But we have five days coming up with rain and mid-fifties. That's winter for us. Then it pops to mid 60s. I don't like the rain and the cold. No flip-flops tomorrow. Brrrrr. We need the rain, so I can't complain. (I just did) 😂😂 I'm in Arizona, by the way.

Has anyone seen the movie Rental Family, with Brendan Fraser? It's not streaming until the end of February. No one wants to go with me. (I can't drive) My hubby will go if I talk him into it.

I live part-time in AZ! Out in the desert outside Maricopa :D I love the winters there. I'm coming out for a few weeks soon :) I live in LA and we've just had a week or so of rain; I guess it is sliding over your way! 64 F here today

I live in Tucson. We love the winters here. A and February will probably be 70 degrees. We needed The rain so I'll just. Shut up. 😁😁

I much prefer the cold to the heat - I love wearing my winter coat :D

What is your idea of hot? I think. If it's 100°F during the day if you sit on the covered patio, with the fan running its not bad at all. But we're climatized. But if the temp is 40-50°F we get very cold.

The problem we have over here that we get temperatures that fluctuate a lot in the summer. So one day it will be 78, the next it could be 65! If it gets hotter slowly, I can get used to it, but fortunately, we rarely get temperatures above 100, and I'm happiest about 75/80 in the summer as we don't have air con in many places over here (including none in my home).

We're currently at overnight temps of -3Celsius. It's annoying because I was planning to do some shopping but the pavements are so slippery I can't go out. Hopefully it will warm up a little soon. Is Arizona very hot in the summer? I like a nice medium temperature myself.

The summers are brutal. But we don't mind at all. Plus I have a friend who has a pool in her yard, so we formed a swim club. Monday, Wednesday and Friday. There is four of us working. It cools you down very quickly. June and July are !00-105°Fbut we have some monsoons and the temps are much lower. Are you from England?

Yes, I'm in England, south coast where it hardly ever snows.

That's nice. You probably have very mild winters. Do you get a lot of rain?

[lucy_roman]

Yep, winters are very mild. We're getting air from the Arctic at the moment and we actually had a very thin dusting of snow. My youngest son is ten and that's the most snow he's ever seen!
And yes it rains a fair amount too.
