Feelings I Am Having Right Now.
I am feeling loved and blessed. We celebrated my birthday tonight. Brett, my son-in-law, made Hibachi food. Oh my god. It was so awesome. I'm so full. We had filet mignon, shrimp, and chicken with lots of zucchini. He makes the best stir-fried rice I've ever had. Our grandson, whom we raised, and his daughter, Jayla. She is going on 18 already. Everyone is growing up too fast. We all got in the big hot tub and relaxed while Brett did all the cooking. Doesn't seem fair, does it? I love Brett. He's not only a good hubby to our daughter but also a wonderful father to our 35-year-old granddaughter. Her name is Alexa. She had to work at the last minute. The joys of being a manager. It was a great night.
