This movie was the first movie ever made by Adam Baldwin, from Firefly. It's such a good film and I'm going to buy it. I had forgotten how much I liked it. I just wondered if anyone else had ever seen it. I think it came out in 1980. (He was only around 17 at the time.) Does anyone else like Adam Baldwin?

Here is a summary of the movie:
[After years of being sheltered in private school, Clifford Peache (Chris Makepeace) finds life difficult at his new Chicago high school where a tough-talking bully (Matt Dillon) and his pals regularly extort students' lunch money. Refusing to pay up, Peache hires a bodyguard.]

I got Monster's Inc today and it's a very good movie. I love cartoons, maybe because I'm a kid at heart. :)

We still haven't watched Proof yet and don't know if I'm in the mood for it now. It looks very sad and I don't want to be depressed around my Birthday. *g*

Has anyone seen any new movies, either at the theater or DVDs? I'd love to hear some recommendations.

Hugs, Patt

PS: Have a great weekend.

I'll have to friend you too. :) I've been hearing things from people I don't know lately and it's exciting. I want to see V is For Vendetta, also. It looks very weird, but very good.

Ever since I saw Natalie Portman in... oh can't think of the name of it. It stared Jean Reno and Gary Oldman, and Danny Aiello. Jean's character was a hitman and she eneded up living with him for awhile. Totally great action movie, very intense scenes, but also sweet and touching. It might be a Luc Besson film it has that feel. So anyways I always kept on eye on the movies she has done since then. John Hurt looks so creepy! Can't wait to see it.

The Professional is one of my favorites. :) Jean Reno is never bad in a movie. Always good. He was even good in French Kiss.

Yes he was good. French Kiss is another of my favorites, because of the wonderful actors in it. So you gotta tell me if you liked Godzilla, so many people hated it but I really liked it. Well Jean Reno was in it so maybe that is why I liked it. LOL. No, really I would have liked that movie even if he wasn't in it. I love Emmerich/Devlin films Stargate, Independence, Day Day After Tomorrow. Babbling now gonna stop. ;) Can you tell I love movies, lol. ::Hugs::

Then there is another for your list of movies to see *g*. Here's a bit of trivia for you there is an O'Neill character in Godzilla. I think they try to use it in every movie they make but I'm not sure.
