Update on Vincent (our grandson)

He's doing pretty well after he started seeing the chiropractor. He goes three times a week and his neck and back are settling down somewhat. It's going to be awhile before he's back to normal. Now, he did find something interesting out at the chiropractor's office. THe doctor asked Vincent how he did before the accident and Vincent told him that he had his gall bladder out almost a year ago and he's been in pain ever since. BUt the doctors never did any more xrays or tests to see what was going on. Well, this doctor did those xrays and found a lone gallstone that is stuck in some duct. That's where the pain has been coming from for the last year. I felt so bad for him, because he's been suffering all this time. *sigh* So, next week he has to see the surgeon again and talk about the next surgery he will need. The chiropractor said he does need it taken care of, before it gets any worse. Poor thing.

Tomorrow he and I have a meeting with the other insurance company about a settlement. I've been practicing my laugh. He isn't even better or done with his therapy yet and they going to discuss settlement? Doesn't make any sense to me. But we'll see what they say when we meet up with them. Wish us luck.
