Which five canons would you want/not want to live in, and why?


Five Canons I would want to live in.

The Sentinel: I love to watch Jim and Blair. Up close would be even more fun.
Star Trek: The Next Generation: Ryker and Worf. Need I say more?
Firefly: Jayne and Captain Tight Pants. I would love to watch them in action.
Due South: Be still my heart. RayK and Ben are the best.
Star Gate SG1: Teal'c could be my best friend. :)


Five Canons I wouldn't live in:

Star Gate Atlantis: I never could get into the show or the characters. They did nothing for me.
Highlander: I never had a thing for the whole Immortal thing.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer: I always disliked her. LOL I'm just saying. (I think it was the girl not the character)
The Professionals: Never got into this one either. I don't find them that cute or interesting. They never held my interest anyway. Go ahead and give me cyber smacks.
Voyager: Did anyone really like Janeway? LOL It was chore watching this show.

Star Trek - preferred TOS.
Firefly - couldn't get interested. I watched three or four eps, then stopped until the RB one. I was convinced, at the time I stopped watching, that it was one of the women who was the captain.
Due South - I couldn't *stand* the mountie. Too much like Terry Pratchett's Corporal (later |Captain) Carrot. Quite liked RayV, never saw RayK - I stopped watching after half a dozen eps.

Professionals - I'm marginally into that fandom.
Voyager - I didn't object to Janeway, but I stopped watching when Jeri Ryan joined the cast, because I couldn't be bothered with the Borg.

Agree with you on the others, though I liked Daniel better than Teal'c

I'm a big Christopher Judge fan. LOL He's a hottie, to me. Not that Daniel isn't, but he wasn't all that with me. :) My granddaughter Sam watches the old Stargates and said that Teal'c is her favorite. :)

Gosh...I could take this meme two ways. I mean if it is to be with the characters fine. But if it is to actually live in that environment, no thanks. Like I would not like to live in CSI or Criminal Minds...or Farscape...You see what I mean?

But...I could go for visiting. LOL...I would love ST:TOS, Sentinel, MFU, Wild Wild West, ooohhhh and Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea.

Wow, I haven't even thought of Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea in years. Honestly, I forgot about it. Now it's on my mind. Must go see what kind of pictures they have in google. LOL

Have you ever read Voyage slash? I would have never thought of it. But the one I read was fantastic. Came across the zine at a con. If you are interested I may still have the link to the writer's webpage I think she had a few good stories posted.

My hubby's name is Rodney and he said when he first saw the show, "What were they thinking naming him Rodney. The name sucks. I grew up with it, it was ugly then and it's ugly now." Rod really does hate his name. *g* He said he agrees with you. LOL

Rod hates his name. I asked him if he wanted our son to be named Rodney Jr. and he said, "Not on your life. I've hated this name since birth. I'm sure not going to give it to him." LOL So no need for apology. It is an awful name. *g*
