pattroseI thought I would let you know why I haven't been writing as much lately. And I won't be writing too much in the coming up days until I get back in Janurary.
Well, in four more days I'll be flying to Albuquerque, New Mexico to help my Mom out after her surgery on the following Monday. She's having her Thyroid out and she's not as young as she used to be, so the Doctor thought it would be good to have some help. That's what I did last year too with my Dad after his knee replacement surgery. They like to see me and they love being waited on. My brother, who lives close by told me last time it took him a month to retrain them. LOL Anyhow, I won't be back from New Mexico until the 19th, so I'll probably be pretty quiet with posts on my journal.
Then when I get back, I have to hustle because we're leaving on the 23rd to go to Houston for ten days. That's going to be so nice. We need the break and we love spending time with our daughter, son-in-law and grand-daughter.
This will be the first time I'm not taking part in the My Mongoose Ezine. Lyn is taking over for Lisa and I, since she's in Texas with her Father. I'm going to miss the last minute rat race that Lisa and I usually go through. I hope that it will be an easy task for Lyn. She sounds like she has it well underway and all in hand. (((((Lyn)))))
In case I forget in the following days, I want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year.
