National Marrow Donor Program. I'm going to be available for bone marrow donation. I've been thinking about it for a long while and it just seemed like the right time to do it. I had bone marrow tests done once years ago when I was sick and the doctor who did it said I handled it so well that I should be a donor. Well then I got sicker and wasn't able to. YOu have to be in fairly decent health. Notice I said 'fairly'. I'm awaiting my test kit. It's very simple and there are people waiting all over the place for the right donor to match up to them. I'm hoping that I can help someone. I feel good about it. :)

No,not really, just know that I can do it with little pain and for that alone,should do my part. There are so many people that suffer from lack of donors,and I just really needed to help. Some day it might be someone in my family and I could only hope and pray that either I or someone else's marrow would match.

I'm in such a bad chap that I can even give my blood (shakes head sadly). The only thing I can do is being a donor of body part if I have an accident. Witch I am, I always have the card on me. I admire you...

I'm an organ donor too,but as far as giving blood,they don't like my veins at all. I have two itty bitty small ones and that's it. Otherwise I would give blood too.
