Stepping Back

I have to learn to step back and let Blair be his own person. He’s a cop now so I can’t be trying to save his ass in front of everyone. He’s used to the danger, so I just need to let him find his own way.

Simon told me today that Blair was doing a great job and that he was proud of me stepping back. He has no idea how hard this is for me. But I’ll keep doing it, day after day.

He’s smart and good at what he does, so I don’t even know why I worry so much. It is a good idea to let him be his own type of cop.

He’ll be fine.
