It's way cuter in person than in this picture. And this is last year model picture not the new ones. We got a Ford Focus SSE 5door. :) It's very sleek and comfortable. White, dark, dark tinted windows and charcoal grey interior.

Like I said, this is last years model, but it looks something like my new one. This one is silver and mine is cloud white. :) It's very nice inside, even had a 6 CD player. Woo Hoo. I was hoping for one, but six???? We get to pick it up tomorrow or Tuesday. Depends on how quickly they get things done. I"m so excited.

Just letting you all know that we got it.

Hugs, Patt

We know the important things, Patt. The heck with MPG and ABS. It's CDs and a/cs that really matter. *g*

Glad you got a nice car. Enjoy it. Maybe you can write a story about Jim and Blair going car shopping sometime. *g*

It was so boring, I wouldn't want to subject the boys to a day of car shopping. LOL A lot of waiting around and nothing going on. LOL I can't wait for tomorrow. :)

Boring for you or for me, but men seem to have this strange affection for the auto. *g*

Enjoy your new car!!

I've got my next car all picked out (a Scion xA in red), but we're saving money so we won't have to finance it when we buy--we're thinking winter for actually purchasing.

I've been awash in new car jealousy since my hubby got his new car in February.

Enjoy it!

I love the Scion xA. :) That's great that you'll be getting it soon. What does hubby drive?

I am going to enjoy this whole experience. I can't wait.

Hubby got a Toyota Corolla and is *really* happy with it. Longevity and gas mileage are super important to both of us in selecting a car and Toyotas have an *excellent* reputation in both of those areas.

Both of us had geriatric and rather clunky old cars. His was a '91 Chevy Cavalier (175K miles, approx) and it went dramatically tits up, which is why he got the first replacement vehicle. My car is a '92 Plymouth Colt (130K miles, approx) and it's gotten really rickety, but nothing dramatic. It's just a little nerve-wracking to be driving alone late at night and stuff.

Toyota Corolla is a great car. We know someone that's had one for years. :) And I'm sure when you get yours it'll last a long while too. Most cars do last well. Okay, not most, but a lot of them we've had do. *g*
