25. When was the last time the windows in your home were washed?

We're terrible. We only do our windows up once for spring and once for fall. Inside and out. I'm anxious to read if people do their windows more than twice a year. I know my sister washes her windows once a month. As much as I'd like to see mine look good every month, I just don't want to do it. Are we lazy? Why yes, we are.

How often do you do them?

I have really large glass doors out into the garden (there are four of them, and they are each three feet wide). I hate looking at things through dirty glass, so they get cleaned at least once a month. Sometimes we get birds who crash into them leaving an imprint (and often killing themselves!) so then they have to be cleaned more regularly.

I actually never wash my windows...except when I swap the screen windows for the storm windows in the screen doors at the end of summer, I give the storms windows a swipe when they come up from the basement.

You are far from lazy. I don't think we've washed our windows once since we moved into this house 15 years ago. We are now replacing them with better insulated ones, however, and at that point they will hopefully be clean again. I wonder if we'll find much of a difference.
