In your own space, create a promo and/or rec list for someone new to a fandom. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it and include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.
Trying to convince our friends and loved ones to join our fandom is a frequent activity for many of us. It's great to have someone to talk to and obsess with! This is your chance to try to entice people into your fandom or to gently introduce new fans to your favorite parts of it.
Maybe you'd like to write a manifesto on your favorite ship. Maybe you'd like to write a breakdown of the many characters that appear in a long running franchise. Maybe you'd like to rec the fics you think everyone in your fandom should read. The possibilities are endless!
I wanted to put three places I hang out and have fun.

The first one is so much fun. You can post prompts, one at a time and people pick them up and write a three sentence story. It's so much fun. I love putting prompts on the list, and also love reading their little stories.
The second one is wonderful. This is my second year belonging and posting. You have to write a 10,000 word story for a small fandom. It has to have less then 2000 stories on the AO3 list. And when you're all done, you even get art. Woot!!!! The mods are wonderful. I love it there.
The third one is a small group, well, I think it's small. But too much fun can be had by all. You can post stories, any fandom, gifs, any type of art, or anything that has to do with a fandom.
And the fourth one is for anyone who wants to just have fun. Right now, it's Monopoly 2026. It's great fun and you try to make more points than other people that belong. A little competition is good. Even though, I never win, I still love it. You can write for your fandoms, draw, create moodboards or things like that. It basically is too much fun. Prisca is our Mod. I love her.
