Tomorrow we're getting A History of Violence and I for one am excited about it. We saw it at the Theater, but can't wait to see it again. People either love or dislike this movie. Hubster and I loved it. :) Check it out when you get a chance.

Enjoy your week. :)

Hugs, Patt

PS: We watched it again and we loved it again. It's such a good story of how a person can change and second chances. :) I loved it.

That should be good. I haven't seen it yet myself. "Pride and Prejudice" was good, this is the new one with Keira Knightley. They did a decent job.

I was right on the fence with this movie. I loved the characterization and the plot, but was appalled at the graphic, intensely violent sex acts the director thrust in my face. Part of it was that I was seeing the movie with a (married) male friend, and he had known before-hand that this sort of scene was typical of the director and had neglected to tell me. I was so surprised and embarrassed at staring at a 40 foot "69" with this guy sitting next to me that it sort of ruined the rest of the movie for me. (I bitched him out for it afterward, and now I choose the movies we see, usually with his wife in tow. LOL)

LMAO That's too funny. I thought the sex was a bit much, but then I like to just think about the sex, not have it shoved in my face. LOL Pardon the pun. *g* The movie itself is really good.
