You know that charity I told you about. Well, I was telling SNail about it in one of our posts and I thought I would copy and paste and save some time. It was the charity that was food and blankets for 18 families at a Family Shelter. So, here is how it went... I felt like crying during the entire delivery of the items. They were so gracious and thankful. I loved all eighteen families. Two of them had eight kids. Can you imagine? The teenage boys in the compound helped us deliver. They were so sweet. Sam was overwhelmed with happiness and love that day too. Everything went off without a hitch and the woman that was in charge asked me if I would help again next year. :) She said she would let me know about everything way ahead of time so I could get more donations. I do love a challenge. *grin* The whole thing was so wonderful for both myself and Sam. WE are so grateful for what we have in our lives. These people have nothing, but yet they seemed so happy to have the bungalow and a place for their kids to play. It's a very nice set-up. We had enough donations to get each of the children a toy of some kind. The teenage boys got footballs and basketballs and were thrilled to death. Sam said we're doing this again next year and she wants to do half of the cooking again like she did this year. It was so good for both me and Sam to remind us of how life could be and how it's our duty to help out our fellow man.

I'm so glad it went so well and you were able to get donations and get it done. It's very generous and we need more of that in the world.

I'm so glad it went so well. Though knowing you, I never doubted for a moment!

What you (and everyone else involved) has done is fabulous, and what Christmas should be about. Thank you for the reminder. ♥
