Working on a Zine again

I'm making a special Zine up for Lisa for her birthday and its quite the job. The story is from a friend and it was never put on the web. So it's on one piece of paper for each page. So I'm having to copy each and put it on one piece for two pages. What a pain in the butt. LOL But Lisa is going to be thrilled and surprised like crazy.

Every day I try and do about 20 pages of it. It's very time consuming and I haven't got the most patience in the world. I just finished making two presents for Christmas for Margaret and K.C. I love to make the presents because it means more to me. :) (Does this mean I'm just cheap?)

Did I mention that we're going to Houston for Christmas again this year? That will be nice. We love spending time with Chris, Brett and Alexa. I hope to get down to Tucson before that, so we can have a gift exchange with Margaret, KC and our other set of kiddo's.

Only five more weeks until my first Convention. Whoo Hoo. I'm so excited. I hear BASCon is a good Con to start at. I think, M told me that. :o)

I have tremors and M and I joke about it all the time. She said this was me smiling while shaking. LOL ::0)) I think that was what she sent. Anyhow, It cracked me up. I have a feeling that I have a very sick sense of humor. It's all M's fault. LOL

Oh man, you're going to BAScon? Lucky, lucky you! I wish I was. San Francisco is beautiful. Make sure Peter takes you on a little bit of a city tour. You won't regret it. *g* You can check out the gay boys holding hands on Castro. Too bad it won't be summer. ;-)

My brother, Pete is going to meet us there too. He's gay and loves San Fran, so he's going to take us to some of the hot spots. :) We're excited. We plan on meeting Peter for dinner one night and meeting her better half too. LOL Lisa and I are having a countdown to the day we leave. :)

Margaret loves the stuff you make for her! She's looking to a whole zine on One Step, One Hand ...series. See, birthday present for next year. LOL

Yes, I think I did tell you that. (nice starter con) Lovely hotel. I loved the koi pond. Small con, too. So it shouldn't be overwhelming.

So what if you made a mistake? I've learned to know exactly what everyone means, so I don't need them to be perfect. So there... :)

Chris has one loss.

They lost their dog of nine years, Cheyenne on Monday. The doctor thinks it never was what the other vet said and she had liver cancer. She was really bad. Chris had to carry her from room to room while the storm was going on. She knew she was dying. It's been real hard for alexa, but she also knows that Cheyenne won't have to suffer anymore.

Other than that, they had no damage and everyone was safe and well.

Ah, that's so sad! I know when my dog Alex died a year ago, just before, I had to carry her around. -which was no easy feat! She was grossly overweight.

That is good - at least that they had no damage and they are safe and sound. You'll have a great Christmas with them!
