pattroseWas either really good, or really lousy. Sometimes both, but I'm not complaining because it turned out rather well. Samantha is doing very well with us, being 10 she still hasn't learned to back-talk yet. LOL I'm sure that's coming. WE really didn't want to raise a child at our age, but we needed to do this. The idea of her going to a foster home was too much for us. And she is doing beautifully. She loves her room, her things, her Grandma and Pop-Pop. (That's what she calls him.) She's quite comical and I enjoy her a great deal. Her mother still isn't doing well and this doesn't surprise me in the least. But she knows that Samantha has a good home and doing well with us. We're hoping that 2016 will be even better. Rod and I are doing very well, so there again, can't complain. We're very lucky and grateful too. I hope that the new year brings all of you much happiness and joy.

You guys are being fabulous; I hope Sam brings so much joy into your lives, especially in the coming year. You've all had so much to overcome and deal with, but hopefully 2016 is the year you can build a fabulous life together. *hugs & love*
