I've always been jealous of those people that know what kind of plants, bushes or trees they have in their yards. I just know they are there. I could guess on some of them. No, I know that we have Century Plants, which I despise and we have Oleander bushes. But that's about it. I forgot, I have orange trees in the backyard, but I only know that because they produce tons of oranges. LOL So, Rodney was sitting in his office the other day and one of his co-workers asked how I was and he told them I was doing well. Then this person asked, "Does she have a garden?" When Rodney got done laughing, he said, "She knows where the patio door leads, but that's as far as it goes. She doesn't go out much." Brat. Did he have to tell everyone I'm useless outdoors? LOL I sit on the patio when he cooks on the grill and that's about it. If we had a pool, I would be out there all the time, but it's 110 degrees outside, do I really want to just sit out there? I think not. I like to believe that I'm adventurous, but really I'm not. *sigh*

Hugs, Patt

Just blow him a raspberry and sip on some sweet tea on your patio.

Speaking of sweet tea, I love the Keurig Sweetened Tea. Have you ever tried it. I do sit out there sometimes at night with the dogs. Then it's like 90 instead of 110. LOL But, I'd rather have that then the winters. LOL

No. Never seen that in any stores. I make my own. As a matter of fact, I should make some tomorrow.

Now, I have had Hard Iced Tea by the guys that make Apple Ale. I like them both.

I can't imagine how I'd react to 110 degrees. 70 is a nice warm summer temperature here... 75 in a heatwave. Okay, south England can get it warmer...

You get used to whatever you have to. We like the dry heat. There is little humidity, so less allergies. We do however have a monsoon season in July. Lucky us. LOL Tons of rain and lots of humidity then. But, I sort of look forward to the monsoons. I sit on the patio out back and watch the lightening and listen to the thunder. My dogs both love the rain, so I know they'll be in heaven when it hits again.

Rod would love a place that stayed about 75 degrees year round. That's his dream home, but we haven't found it yet. LOL

I seriously doubt that it's possible to find anywhere that's around 75 degrees all year round. I'd be happy with someplace that has winter temperatures of around 60 and summers with 70 - 75 absolute max, but I don't think that exists either. Well, maybe in a spirit world where you set your own rules...

That's the ticket. We have to wait until we're in a spirit world. Dang it. LOL

I was hyperventilating on Friday and that was only the mid-70s! Still I love it when you can just wander around in a t-shirt - no jumper, no coat - in the evenings. Balmy June!

My favorite weather is fall. 80's and lower at that. I love that time of year. And Spring is pretty nice, too.
