Very good news on one hand and not good news on the other.

My heart is really good. The echocardiogram came back really well. No problems likke that, but the tests for esophageal Ulcer came back very positive. He thinks that I was in so much pain that I might have put myself into like a meditative state, lowering my blood pressure. LOL LMBO I thought of Blair Sandburg and laughed. The doctor didn't see the humor in it. *grin* I'm thrilled for my heart being all right, but not happy about having to take more pills for the ulcer. *sigh* WEll, it's still better than a heart attack. I'm so relieved. Gosh, this has been a long damn week. Thank you all for your positive prayers and thoughts. :)

He told me he's not surprised that I have an ulcer, but was surprised at how bad it got over time. Now with treatment, I'll do great. :)

In the grand scheme of things, ulcer so much better than heart probs. Well done for beating the medics and getting the right advice at last. I'm sorry you have had to go through such a worrying time, but the right knowledge helps you recover almost as much as treatment, I think, because you know for sure what you are fighting. Take your meds like a good girl ;) and take it easy too! :))

He told me to give up the exercise for two weeks and let my body heal up. So, I was a little disappointed with that. After all, I'm lost 28 pounds now and wanted to lose more soon. But, there is always two weeks from now. I must stop being so impatient. LOL

Gradual loss is better than quick loss, and when you restart your regime, your body will have that kick start and the weight loss will pick up again - promise! :))

I have ongoing ulcers from my surgery. They are along the incision. So when they flare up I get Prevacid. Seems to help.
