I'm in so much pain tonight...

I suffer from IBS and I haven't had an attack like this in a good year. It's making up for lost time. And I haven't got any of the pills for it, because I haven't needed them in so long. :( I just thought I would jump on here and whine a little. Later today will be better, I hope.

Oh poor Patt, I do sympathise. I went through several years of bad IBS symptoms, so I know what it is like. It's a while since I had a flare-up, touch wood (though I have enough else going on at the moment, I don't need that as well!). I do hope you get some relief soon and feel better. I don't know if it is any help but I used to find that making a hot milk drink with honey and fennel seeds used to help with pain relief - fennel can be very soothing. Just something that worked for me :-). All the best, and I hope you feel better soon! xxx

Thank you, Bev. I'm waiting for my hubster to wake up for work. I knew I would toss and turn and bug him, so once he's up, I can sleep. I'm so tired. Oh well, at least it's been a year since an attack. This is something to be happy about. I used to have them at least five or six times a month. I guess I need to stop complaining. LOL I don't have any fennel seeds in the house. Dang it.

I found the pills to put under my tongue. They disolve and help calm the stomach down. They're working already. Thank goodness for that.

I haven't had one in a year at least, so there is that to be grateful for. I used to have them all the time. I'm doing pretty good today. Just moving a little slow is all. LOL Thanks for the hugs. :)

That's what I finally did was lay down and when I woke up it was gone. Thank God for that. I feel pretty good right now.

They were in Rod's pill cabinet. Go figure. Normally I wouldn't have even looked, but I was desperate. So, I feel a lot better today. :)
