I don't mean to brag, but I can't help it.

Tom,our son just got done making all of his thank you cards for christmas presents. He drew all of them, but the one I was most impressed by was the one he is drawing for my brother Dan, the religious artist. Dan's company is called St. Bernadette's Sacred Institute of Art and Tom decided to sketch her for him. He's almost done and won't let me scan it until he's done. You're all going to be so impressed. Well, I think so anyhow. I had no idea that Tom was able to capture a face and give it life. It's just beautiful. I will scan tomorrow sometime after he finishes it. :) I can't wait to post the scanned sketch. Well, it's not a sketch, it's a full blown drawing. Idon't know why I'm calling it a sketch. It starts out that way, but he gets busy and before long it's a drawing. He's so good. I can't wait to share it.

Hi Jane. Thank you, I think he's pretty amazing. This was his first portrait, so he was really nervous, plus he was drawing it for an artist, which made it even harder. :) I told him, Dan would love the thought put into it. That seemed to calm him down some.
