My Mongoose Announcement!

My Mongoose Ezine is saddened to report that The Many Chapters of The Sentinel 8 will be our last scheduled ezine. We will be closing our doors, shutting down the presses and emptying the inkwells. In other words, this is it. This is our series finale. The archive will remain open for everyone’s enjoyment and it may improve over time. Like some television shows, we might have a special edition ezine but there are currently none scheduled. We want to end with a big send off. It’s a Chapter’s ezine.

This ezine is a Christmas present to all the loyal Sentinel fans over the years. The deadline is December 1st, 2012.

We would like to see as many of our previous writers, as well as those who have always wanted to participate. Now is the time! It’s a Chapter’s ezine. You will find a list of the chapters below. The prompt chapter is only for stories using the one line prompt. You will find it below, also.

Sorry to hear this as I've enjoyed the zine over the years. But I sure do understand -- HUGE amount of work and if I'm any example, writers are drying up. Not that we don't still love the guys but the muse seems to be playing elsewhere. Can't believe how long it takes to write a story now, or that these are the first attempts in three or so years.

I hope you get a great response. I'm not promising anything, but I'll try to come up with something for the prompt.

THank you, Marilyn. We've had a great time, so we have no complaints. It was just time. We're hoping that this one helps us go out with a bang. :)

I just had to stop by and say thank you to you and everyone involved in the production of these ezines. It makes me sad that there is probably only going to be one new one, now, but I've spent a lot of time there reading, and I'm sure that will continue. There are quite a few favorites there for me. It's the end of an era, but what a ride!

Thank you, Aly. It's a sad day for us, too. We're going to miss it a lot. We'd love to see a story from you. YOu could even do a really short one. :) Everyone would be so thrilled. :)
