Gratitude Meme: Day 22

Day 22: Today I'm grateful for cooking sausage with Dirty Rice. I know it sounds awful, but it's yummy. Lots of spices so that the rice looks like it's got dirt in it. LOL It's spicy and good, especially with the chicken and sausage. I love to cook cajun food, so that's what I'm going to make today. It was between that and Gumbo. Also, Cajun. I even make spicy black beans to go with it. Now I'm starving already just talking about it. And for dessert I'm going to make some no flour peanut butter cookies. It's a super simple recipe with only three ingredients. WE all love them too.

Love Dirty Rice! I just wish there was a good low cal substitute for rice. sigh...

The local joke here - Charlestonians are like the Chinese. We worship our ancestors and love rice. ;-)
