And if you have, would you tell us what you saw and if you liked it or not? I'm going to finally watch A Single Man with Colin Firth in it. It's been out for ages, but I never had the time to watch it. So I dvr'd it and will watch it this weekend. I'm also going to watch The Lovely Bones. I've heard that both of them are excellent.

These are movies, I"m waiting to come out on DVD. I can't wait to see them.

The Help
Rise of the Planet of the Apes
Cowboys and Aliens
The Change-UP
Captain America: The First Avenger
Crazy, Stupid, Love
Transformers: Dark of the Moon
X-Men: First Class
Super 8
Green Lantern

We stopped using Netflix and Blockbuster and only use Red Box now. We love Red Box and boy are the movies ever cheap. Wednesday you get 50 cent movies. Woo Hoo. God, I'm such a cheap ass. LOL

Have a great weekend, everyone.

Hugs, Patt

I loved X-Men First Class, Fast and Furious 5, and oddly enough Bad Teacher. BT was a hoot. Cameron Diaz was actually very funny, but the scene stealers were the other teachers.

Colin Firth is a wonderful actor, but I didn't like A Single Man. I won't tell you why until you see it unless you want me to spoil you for the ending.

Give me a shout in an email and tell me about it. I don't mind spoilers.

Another movie I just thought of that I really liked was Winter's Bone. It was sad, but excellent.

I liked A Single Man (couldn't get into the book at all, though).

We don't usually go to the movies, so I'm no help with that, but I have seen a couple on TV via Satellite that I enjoyed: Zerophilia and Assassin in Love. The actor who was the assassin also portrayed Yassen in Stormbreaker.

We watch all new movies that come out eventually. But I just wondered if anyone liked them or not. Now I'm surprised about you not seeing movies. You reminded me of a movie going person. I don't see them because it cost 9.00 now. I'm too cheap. LOL

Not cheap, Patt. If they could guarantee what I was going to see would be decent, then I wouldn't mind spending $9 (too much). But 9 times out of 10 the movie is crap, and it would make me crazy to pay that much to see garbage.

I want to see Cowboys and Aliens and Transformer.

And I really want to see Harry Potter. Wish I can get it now. Mom and I just saw Part I Thursday night. I'm really surprised that see is into the series.

I have made a promise to myself that when Darkshadows is released I will see that at a theater. ;-)

What is Dark Shadows? This doesn't ring a bell at all with me.

Is that a remake of the vampire soap of the 60s? My sister loved Barnabas Collins. She'd hurry home from school every day to watch this.

Dark Shadows is s gothic soap opera in the sixties. The main character was Barnabas Collins, a vampire. I believe you can see the original series on Netflix. A lot of popular tv stars got their start on the show, ie David Selby, Kate Jackson, etc.

Johnny Dep was a big fan of the show. He and Tim Burton are currently filming the remake. ;-)

We don't see many movies because I'm cheap. They are 9.00 now. I just think that is rediculous. But every now and then I do splurge and see one at the theater. I've heard X-men was really good. I can't wait to see it.
