Guess what Rod is getting for me tomorrow.

As you all know, we lost our wonderful Grace eight months ago and we've been lost without her. I told Rod when we finally got a new dog, I want to name it Lily. It's one of my favorite names and flowers. So, we decided to start looking at labradoodles and I opened up this site and low and behold they had one puppy left and her name is Lily. I saw that as a sign. Rod saw it as, his wife was losing it big time, but we discussed it all evening long and decided that it was time. So Lily is going to be our new family member as of tomorrow. I'm so darn excited. She's 12 weeks old now and ready to go for sure. I'll make up a new icon when we get her home. But for now, I thought Grace would like to be on the page. Here is what Lily looked like at 8 weeks.

Puppies are actually quite a pain, but we've got four people in the house to help with her. So that helps out a lot. We can't wait. We're getting her in two hours. Woo Hoo.

That's what I told Rod and of course he thinks I'm insane. He doesn't believe in fate and all of that. But he's excited to meet the new member of our family. :)
