We're going to be on Radiance of the Seas and it leaves Monday. We can't wait. We're both so excited, we're like kids, only we're 58. It's our 40th wedding anniversary. I've read all of the posts for last minute things to take, so I think we're set. But I just know we're going to forget the camera or something important. I'm nervous and excited at the same time. Does anyone on live journal have anything to remind me to take? I figure that I could have a list going of things NOT to forget. :) Yes, I'm going to try and remember my camera. LOL It's one of my fears to forget it along with our passports. LOL

Have fun! Post photos!

I love knowing people who married at what we would now say is too young and are still married decades later. (One of my cousins - just 57 - is celebrating her 40th this year. Yay!)

Passport, tickets, money, credit cards, medication (including gravol, just in case). That's it. Everything else you can buy on board at duty free prices or at ports of call. So don't be worrying about a thing! Just have a terrific time.

Having said that: walking shoes, socks, sandals, slacks, shorts, bathing suits, tshirts, blouses, light dresses/evening wear and shoes for dinner (shirts, ties, dress pants, blazer or sport coat for hubby), jewellry, underwear, pyjamas/nightgown, sun hats, sun tan lotion, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes and toothpaste, hairbrushes, combs, makeup, perfume, shaving kit, sun glasses, camera, camera batteries (and film if needed), watch, purses and bag for ports (ie large enough to carry bottles of water), books, deck of cards ... can't think of anything else! Oh, if you're driving, pad and paper to write down where you park the car!

What a good list. I've got almost everything in it already packed. LOL We're flying, so we don't have to worry about parking the car. This is going to be such fun. Woo Hoo.

A warm wrap of some sort for evenings on deck. It can get windy and a bit chilly.
But we love to sit at the pool decks late at night when they're deserted and watch the waves.
Mostly just have fun! All you'll need to do is lift a fork *g*.
Bon Voyage!

Oh! and RC has these cool bottle slings you can get for litre size water bottles.

They offer them as you leave the ship at the first port, complete with icy cold water.

I'm going to check tomorrow, but I know someone that just came off of the ship and everything was fine. I'm sure they had to have had it repaired. We're going, no matter what. If it's our time, it's our time. I'm living for today. LOL Seriously, I'm going to call tomorrow.
Hugs, Patt
