There's a lot that's like the old LJ setup, because it's based on the LJ code, so hopefully it won't seem too strange. They have a really good help section, too, and there are loads of us here that are willing to help, like Mab said.

I am a bit befuddled by it too. But it's worth having a safety net. It's a shame though, because I really like LJ...

The coding and posting is the same as LJ, the "names" of stuff is slightly different, but actually easier to access.

Any questions, I'll be glad to help, I've been here since it started and have been just waiting for it to get more active in my fandoms :)
