Rodney's dad's pictures from 1929

Rod's dad died when we were 18, so we missed out on a bunch of wonderful parts of life with Sam having his grandchildren around him and things like that. We miss him a lot and a cousin of Rodney's sent these three pictures of Sam from 1929. If I remember math at all, that makes these 80 years old. I've got to have them fixed up a little bit before I frame them. We're going to have them up with my dad's baby pictures from 84 years ago. It'll be something nice for the children to have when we're gone.

This is Sam with his older brother Harold. Both are gone now.

Rod is thrilled with the pictures. There were tons of them, so I'm going to be busy choosing frames and such. :)

This is beautiful you know? I remember 3 of my great grandmothers. I don't have photos though, and that saddened me. It's the only way to be a little immortal, no? To be remembered by family and loved one. What you're doing for your kids is splendid :)
