I love the Red Cross
May. 21st, 2009 01:47 pmThey have swimming lessons for all of the pools in town for a really cheap price. We're going to take Sam, (who is 4) for eight weeks of lessons. Total cost: 8 bucks. So by the end of the summer she's going to be quite the swimmer. Do you believe that. They try to promote more swimming lessons, so there will be less drowning every summer. We have neighbors who have invited Sam to go swimming next door every morning, but I told them until she swims, I don't know how I feel about it. Even with me there, I just would feel better having the lessons. She's so excited. She'll go every day, five days a week for eight weeks. The woman (from the Red Cross) I talked to said either an hour or an hour and a half each day. That will give her something to look forward to every day until she starts pre-school in Sept. She can't wait for that either. :) The summer is looking up. Woo Hoo.
