I'm worried about Maggie

A friend of mine took a spill on another friends cement patio and hurt her knee and shoulder. I'm worried about her because of the way she was moving today when I saw her. I think she should be seen by a doctor, and I don't think she's going to. I hate when you can't force your friends to do things you want them too. She's not moving her shoulder like she should be, so there might be something wrong with it. Could be anything, or it could be just sore from the fall. But I still think she should have it checked out. That's why people carry house insurance for falls and things like that. I sure hope she listens to me, but I don't know that she will. I do know she'll worry about costing our other friend money, but I think she should think about her poor shoulder first. She said when she fell she felt it move. (Her shoulder) That didn't sound good. Hopefully she'll come to her senses today and do something about it. We'll see.

I'd never make a claim on a friend's homeowner's insurance unless they were at fault through negligence such as having a broken railing or uncovered hole. I don't get this sue a person just because you're on their property, never have. I'd just use my own insurance for a doctor's visit.

I hope your friend gets better. I know sometimes there's nothing much a doctor can do anyway.

She would never use that insurance anyhow. The reason she fell was because Bill had just washed off the patio with soapy water, and put that on cement and it's slippery as hell. She walked out and didn't even look down, so she didn't know until it was too late. :( She said she might call for an appointment later today. We'll see. She thinks it's just an older person falling on pavement and not liking it. LOL
