It's truly wonderful.

What I also liked was that several of the newspeople said he's going to set up his transitional office today, not taking even a day off, just hitting the ground running. That's what we need, a real worker, because he's got one hell of a job to straighten out the mess he's won.

I could tell he was a worker. :) He's just the type. I'm still so excited about all of this. My grand-daughter who is three can't understand why we think it's such a big deal. She'll never know what it was like before. Time to make her a scrapbook.

Oh, to be young and innocent with no historical perspective. *g* She's three, so she gets a pass. The older ones, not so much. *G*

Now, if we could only get rid of these stupid gay marriage bans.

Arizona passed the ban, so I was disgusted. What else did I expect from a John McCain state, right?

Kentucky passed it, too. McCain won over 60% here. I really wasn't happy about that.

I'm just hoping that people don't expect too much too soon from Obama. He's going to need time to clean up this mess.

It took over 8 years to get here, so we all better get ready for a long, long fight to get back on our feet. I pray all goes well for our new President. Have I mentioned that I'm excited? LOL

He's got a tough job ahead, but I believe he's up to it.

Very exciting! And interesting. The next four years, and beyond, are going to be very interesting. He has a lot of work to do, that's for sure.

So since we voted for Obama, does that make us Socialists? :)

And I'm thinking, as long as we get health care for everyone, and some other things fixed, go socialists!

Because the other stuff was working so well for us. (arching eyebrow)

Heh. Didn't vote for him. *Didn't vote for McCain either.*

But this means I can honestly make fun of him when he screws up!

Yes, it is a proud day. Let's just hope that this is the turning point this nation needs to become the truly great nation it once was.
