I'm a little depressed.

You know, there are just some days you want to stay in bed. Today was one of them. I keep hoping that a certain child of mine will get his shit together and grow up and he keeps doing the opposite. *sigh* He's not getting better and I may as well just get used to it. Doesn't help my depression any.

Lord, I know what that's like, when you just want to stay in the bed, in the dark's even better. Hope you get to feeling brighter. I'll let myself wallow for a day max, but sometimes you just need the mental health break from reality.

I know it's hard when the people you love just don't seem to be on the right track. My nephew Cory is like that, a real mess. You still love'em though.

Yup, I still love him. He's a really nice boy, just made some really bad choices in life. *sigh* I'm feeling a little better today, so hopefully the worst is over.

Life is full of bad choices, but the main thing is to learn from them. My problem with my nephew is that he seems to be making the same bad choices over and over. It's depressing.

When it has four daughters, there is do not I rest, the soul stayed in the bed and the body enters in the pilot automatic one and go to work.

Patt, I'm sorry you had such a rough day yesterday, hope today is looking a little better. I don't have kids of my own (stepsons and stepgrandkids). I do have a couple of cousins, though, that have the whole family pulling their hair out. (In and out of prison; three kids by one man who keeps beating her and getting sent to jail for it, then she takes him back when he's out - *sigh*.) And both cousins are smarter than that and raised better than that, just as I'm sure your child is. I know I don't know how you feel, but I sure have some sympathy!

Wow, it sounds somewhat like our life. Sad, but true. I feel better today, yesterday was his birthday and it just hit me hard that he's not going to get his shit together. He's 32 now. But things will get better, I'm sure. Just had an off day is all. Thanks for the thoughts. :)
