Yeah, I'm finishing my Observer story now, and I'm thinking next year, it's done or I'm not offering it. I mean, I adore how this is turning out, but the deadline is no fun.

But your work is creating quite the stir at the auction. It must make you feel great, knowing that many people are that into you. LOL Right?

deadline! Authors have a *minimum* - not maximum - of 90 days, meaning heck, you can take a year! Like I did! LOL!

Ah, but that's just not me. I get stressed when I know I have outstanding projects. So, I want it done BEFORE. I set the deadline for myself.

And I am thrilled. I love knowing that the stories are really going to be doing some good for a good cause. And I'm *shocked* at the gen story going so high. I was hoping to maybe get 40 or 50 off that.

I knew I couldn't offer anything new because I just don't have the time right now to get anything done, and I hate promising and not delivering.
I hate it when RL intrudes on my fandom life:)

I think the people who offer to write fic to order are very, very brave!

And I was hoping that you would answer one of my challenges on that special auction page. It was for 300-500 words ficlets. VIrgin JIm bottom and the other one, Bossy blair. Think about it. They're short. LOL I'm such a fic slut. (sigh)

I forgot to mention how great it was seeing your work up for the auction. And it seems to be doing well too. Wait until this week and they'll go crazy. I was bidding on it too, but they went to high for me. LOL I hate being poor. (grin)

Ah, gotcha. Those are the worst deadlines, aren't they? But whenever you finish it - everyone will be thrilled!!

I'm working on Chapter 14 right now, and there will be 15 or 16 chapters total. So, I'm getting there.

I would if I thought there were 300 words in me LOL! I seem to have run dry when it comes to creativity lately. I'm trying to put the last couple of lines to a Stargate story I started about 4yrs ago, and failing miserably!
I couldn't even finish an Oz *drabble*, 100 skinny little words. *sigh*
The old mutt has finally burned out:)

I can echo the sentiment about being poor:)

I hope all the items make money for such a worthy cause, but I must confess to finding some of the listings downright confusing. I think it's because my brain refuses to retain the info I've read on the Moonridge site, so when I get to the auction, I can't remember what the hell the item is, or who did it LOL!
I fear that brain leakage has occurred, big time:)

Oh say it ain't so. I can't believe that you are finished for good. So I prefer to think of it as a well needed rest. The fire is still there, you just have a lower flame these days. :)
