Crunchy question

Have you ever used an Ouija board? Do you think you would?

I did. At a birthday party when I was about 14. It was sort of scary. If I did one today, it probably wouldn’t scare me.

When I was about 12, some girls in my year at school did one. I wasn't there, but from what I heard afterwards, it allegedly spelled out "RB will die tonight". There was someone with those initials in our year, who wasn't there but someone told her about it, and she was quite freaked out.

(Nothing happened. To the best of my knowledge she's still alive today).

This one girl who was very religious walked in on it, got very upset about it, told her mother, and her mother called our head of house to complain. All the girls (not just those who actually took part) got spoken to about it.

To this day I don't know what happened. Maybe someone was messing about and had it say that for a joke, although I did wonder whether someone playing a joke would have chosen the initials of someone present rather than someone who wasn't there and who some of them didn't even know that well (if it was deliberate; they could just have chosen some random initials, not realising that some people present did know a RB).
