2025 Question a day

4.    Dry January is a campaign where people choose to abstain from alcohol for the entire month of January (the campaign was started in 2013 by Alcohol Change UK, a UK charity). Are you joining in with dry January?

I’m an alcoholic myself so I’m not sure what I’m supposed to put. All I know is AA frowns on .drinking. 😂 I think it’s a great idea to do now and then. But I’ve been non drinking f’or the last 30 years. Does anyone know a person or persons that actually did this? I just wondered why someone would do this.

I just read this and I don’t want anyone thinking it’s an easy life. But I tend to joke about things when I’m not sure what to say. Can you believe it’s the 4th of January already?enjoy the rest of January.

I think the idea is to start the year with good habits and some people (as I'm sure you know) just don't realise how much they drink, so sometimes it's a wake-up call.

It’s a good idea. Being the only sober one at parties shows me how different people act after one drink or after five.
