:-) Just an hour out of bed on a dull morning with rain forecast... Basically it'll be a day much like any other till tonight. I'll have a takeaway Chinese meal with my two friends here - that's our routine birthday 'celebration'.

Left to myself, though... it's never been a big deal. I hated my birthday when I was a kid - until I learned that the best way to deal was make the jokes first. But my father's family totally ignored birthdays - he told me once they didn't even say 'Happy birthday'. The only birthday that was acknowledged was the 21st.
