Is anyone else writing their Big Bang Story for 2016?

I'm just starting mine and feel like I'm way behind already. Has anyone else started and if so, how are you doing with your story? Mine is coming slow, slow, slow.

I've got one currently at around 27000 words, but I've hit a writing block - I know where it's going and even how it's going to get there, but I've reached a point where it's stalled. It only needs another thousand or so words.

Also working on two nostalgia stories - one an extension of one posted s while ago, but I need quite a bit more done to it - again I know where it's going, but it doesn't want to move; the other a continuation of a 6-chapter (6-prompt) story done for Sentinel Thursday. It reached a natural break, but remained unfinished. I'm trying to get it finished. I might start another new one (it's how I deal with writing blocks) but haven' reached that stage yet.

I hate writers blocks. :( Hope yours passes soon. I'm still trying to figure out something for the regular Big Bang.

I have to start ahead of time because I have duties on the list too. I came up with a wonderful idea this morning and I'm running with it. I don't know how anyone else will like it, but I'm loving it. So far, 1,000 words. Mind you, I may have to change half of them, but still there is the idea. :)
